| Registration and check-in will begin at 8:00
a.m. on each day of the three site tours and before the preproposal conference. There will
be a registration desk just outside the area designated for meeting. The site tours and
preproposal conference begin at 8:30 a.m. Only those individuals pre-registered will be
allowed on the site tours. No pre-registration is necessary for the preproposal
conference. We suggest that casual dress be
adopted for the three site tours even though the site tours will be limited to a drive
through of the areas on a bus with no disembarkment.
We anticipate that the three site tours will be completed by
noon on the respective days. The presentation part of the preproposal conference will be
completed by noon also; however, if the need to answer questions continues beyond noon, we
will reconvene after lunch and will dedicate whatever time is necessary during the
afternoon.
In the event of severe weather which would make the roads
hazardous, you may call Beverly Mathis at 865-241-1657 for information and directions.
After normal working hours, Beverly will leave a voice message giving directions.
During the site tours, no laptop computers, computer
diskettes, cameras, cell phones, palm handheld organizers, pagers, or other electronic
receiving/sending or recording devices will be allowed on the bus. Please leave these
items in your vehicle.
The RFP, paragraph L.19, listed the site of the preproposal
conference as the Ballroom of the Sheraton Suites Lexington. This room has been changed to
the Deauville Room of the Sheraton Suites Lexington. |
