As Team Leader of the Contractor Human Resource Group (CHRG), the Team Leader develops and administers through the Contractor Human Resource Specialists in CHRG, the Department of Energy (DOE) and Oak Ridge Office (ORO) Contractor Human Resources programs and policies.

Major Human Resources subject areas include:

  • Compensation (contractor wage and salary policies) and benefits (such as group insurance, paid time off, etc.), pension/retirement/savings programs, liability insurance/risk management, human reliability programs, labor relations, labor standards (minimum wage laws, such as Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Act, etc.), work force planning and restructuring, work force diversity, and Human Resources (HR) performance metrics and contractor appraisals.
  • Advises and assists ORO management and contractors on broad range of contractor HR issues and programs; coordinates with headquarters organizations as appropriate; and works with variety of others in developing and supporting partnerships and other stakeholder forums.
  • Provides support and advice to Source Evaluation Boards (SEBs) and other ORO procurement actions; participates in negotiation and administration of the personnel areas and costs of contracts.
