• Many pictures were taken at the 2013 Oak Ridge Forum and include many Forum attendees. If Forum attendees are interested in acquiring some pictures, contact the DOE ORO Emergency Management Team.

  • Approximately 400 persons attended the 2013 Forum and represented most of the towns, cities, and counties of East Tennesse and several counties from Middle and West Tennessee.

  • Registration for both the Forum and the FEMA Think Tank Call reportedly went smoothly. 

  • 35 indoor exhibits and 8 outdoor exhibits were set up for the Forum.  Outdoor exhibitors include: TEMA, Y-12, TN Department of Agriculture/Forestry, Knox and Anderson County Sheriff''s Offices, Civil Air Patrol, and the East TN Chapter of Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.

  • Many area vendors offered indoor exhbits, including, EnergySolutions, Scientific Sales, Central Communications and Electronics, Unitech Services Group, Radio Shack of Clinton, TN, ServPro, First Response Environmental Group, URS Professional Solutions, and Southern Safety Supply. Some national vendors which will be exhibiting include:  Federal Signal, Federal Resources, Esri, DigitalGlobe, and PenBay Solutions.

  • The FEMA Think Tank Call went very smoothly and featured the FEMA Headquarters Deputy Administrator, the FEMA Chief Innovation Advisor, and several East Tennessee professionals, including Dr. Susan Speraw, UT-K Global Disaster Nursing Program.
