Message from the Federal Women’s Program Committee
Each of us on the Federal Women’s Program (FWP) Committee is passionate about the FWP mission to support the achievement of the Oak Ridge Office (ORO) mission by implementing activities to positively impact the employment, professional development, and advancement of women within ORO. Our hope is that the 2013 Oak Ridge Women’s Career Workshop promotes the mission by providing a powerful forum for women to come together, share, connect, and inspire one another to reach their fullest potential.
The theme of this year’s workshop is “RESILIENCE: The Difference is YOU!” It will bring women leaders together from various industries and backgrounds to engage in meaningful dialogue about the critical issues facing women inside and outside of the workplace.
We sought to include a rich and diverse range of women to address the ever-changing economic challenges facing our nation and region as well as a group of dynamic leaders who are leading change. Further, we will have afternoon workshop sessions that will focus on continuous growth in our personal and professional lives.
