Welcome to the Oak Ridge Office Native American Indian Program

Our Mission:
To improve Federally Recognized Native American Indian Participation in the Pursuit of Excellence in Support of the DOE and ORO Mission.

Goals:

• Encourage and enroll Native American participation in educational programs ranging from kindergarten through college.
• To provide computer equipment and support to Native Americans for use in their educational systems.
• To increase Native American participation in upward mobility programs.
• To increase the employment of Native American within DOE.
• To establish a Native American communications network to foster interest and participation in Indian events and activities.
• To establish a community outreach program for Native Americans.
