| DOE APPOINTS NEW
MEMBERS TO OAK RIDGE SITE SPECIFIC ADVISORY BOARD
The Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board (ORSSAB) is a federally-chartered
citizens panel that provides recommendations to the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak
Ridge Operations (ORO) Environmental Management Program. Jeanne Bonner is employed by UT-Battelle LLC at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
She has a degree in chemical engineering and experience in facility decontamination and
decommissioning, radiochemical processing, hazardous waste operations, and emergency
response. Heather Cothron is employed by Science Applications International Corporation as an engineer and project manager at ORNL. She holds a bachelor of science degree in biology and a master of science degree in chemical engineering and is a certified Project Management Professional. Patricia Hill is an artist and teacher who has worked as an art director for the Boys
& Girls Clubs of Knoxville, as a graphic artist at the Knoxville News-Sentinel,
and as a teacher at the Apostolic Christian School in Knoxville. Luis Revilla is Captain of the Fire Department at the Y-12 National Security Complex. He is a certified paramedic, fire fighter, fire inspector, and hazardous materials technician. He holds an associate of arts degree and is a graduate of the Donnellson Law Enforcement Academy. E.W. Seals is a machinist with UT-Battelle at ORNL. He is treasurer of the Atomic Trades and Labor Council, which represents approximately 2,000 bargaining unit employees. Board meetings are generally held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Garden Plaza Hotel in Oak Ridge.
